My love of travel began when I was 18 and went to live in Russia for 6 months on a ballet scholarship. I am obsessed with history and fascinated by other cultures, and my record for binge watching on Netflix was 2 weeks, when I watched all three series of The Medicis back to back.

I then proceeded to book a flight to Pisa and spent a week in a tiny Medieval town in Tuscany, and the rest as they say is history.

I have a plan to buy a house in Italy in the next two years, (notice I said plan and not a dream…there’s a difference).

And in the meantime I just need to figure out where. So that’s where this Blog will come in very handy!

THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT ME..

I’m a wordsmith and can talk the hind legs off a donkey. Writing is like therapy for me, and I love putting my thoughts on a page.
I’m a Queen of ADHD, having been diagnosed at the tender age of 51. I have changed my life without the use of meds, with an insanely healthy diet, a shed load of walking, and loving the absolute crap out of myself.
I LOVE sharing, (see previous sentence about ADHD), and when I’m travelling I make Tiktok videos to show all the places I get to.
I have been compared to Bridget Jones in some of these videos so will answer to the name Bridge if necessary.
I have an unhealthy obsession with bullet points when I’m writing. I think it’s an ADHD thing.
